How your data is handled

Your account and teaching work

The pilot stores your name, email address and a protected password hash. It also stores your uploaded curriculum sources, units, version history, presentations and saved resources.

Your curriculum workspace is private to your account. Joining a school does not automatically share your units with its owner or other teachers. Presentation collaborations and public sharing are separate actions that you control. People operating the service can access stored data for administration and support.

Generation and payments

When paid generation is enabled and you request it, relevant teaching input and source material are sent to OpenAI to generate the requested content. Manual unit imports do not make a generation request. Avoid including identifiable student records or confidential school information in generation inputs.

When billing is enabled, Stripe hosts checkout and the billing portal. The application stores billing identifiers and subscription status; it does not collect or store full payment-card details.

Classroom activities

Students can join a teacher-started live activity without a teacher account. Responses use temporary participant identifiers. Teachers can view activity results and saved reports. Do not ask students to submit names or sensitive personal information in open responses. Ending a session closes further participation.

Retention and removal

Archived units remain stored until you delete them. Deleting a unit removes its unit history and linked resource versions in CurriculumWriter. Separate Presentation Studio editions remain in Studio and must be removed there. Disabling an account prevents sign-in but does not erase its saved work or cancel its subscription.

Backups and administrative records may retain information after deletion. For account deletion, retention details or support, contact the person who invited you to this pilot. The operator must confirm the retention arrangements before the hosted service is opened to users.
